Hi welcome to my TED talk today I’m gonna talk about how people need to stop doing the thing in AOS fics where if jim and Spock are both off the bridge they leave Sulu in charge when according to rank it should be Scotty ://// Lieutenant Montgomery Scott is third in command and the only reason Sulu was ever put in charge in into darkness (which is arguably the worst of the three but that’s an argument for another day) is because Scotty had quit at that point but like in every fic he’s back and still second officer bitches so when your gays leave the bridge put the rightful dude in charge.
